Michael Taylor has joined Chicago-based Huron Consulting Group as a managing director in the healthcare strategy practice.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Taylor.
1. He has more than two decades of experience working across the hospital, physician, payer, employer benefits and life sciences industries.
2. Most recently, he was managing director at Accenture.
3. Previously, he worked at private equity-owned healthcare companies as an operating executive.
4. He serves on the board for the Population Health Alliance, a global trade association based in Washington, D.C.
5. Mr. Taylor is also a nationally recognized speaker on the topics of healthcare enterprise strategy, consumerism and the growing clinical and financial burden of chronic disease and obesity.
