Dartmouth-Hitchcock Chief Innovation Officer Terry Carroll resigns

Terry Carroll has stepped down from his position as chief innovation officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., just one month before the system expands its EHR and billing platforms, reports Valley News.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock spokesman Rick Adams confirmed the news, but did not say why or when Mr. Carroll left, only that he departed during the current calendar year, according to the report.

Mr. Carroll was appointed chief innovation officer in August 2013.

Next month, Dartmouth-Hitchcock is scheduled to expand its Epic EHR system to its Concord community medical group, as well as use Epic's billing and scheduling software systems across the health system.

Mr. Adams told Valley News the scheduled go-live remains unaffected by Mr. Carroll's departure. "We are planning the launch as scheduled. There have been no setbacks. We are moving ahead," he said.
