Avera Sacred Heart Hospital CEO Pamela Rezak to Retire

Pamela Rezak, CEO of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, S.D., has announced plans to retire, effective June 27, according to a Yankton Daily Press & Dakotan report.

Ms. Rezak has served as CEO for the past 17 years. She joined ASSH in 1980, serving as vice president of patient care and vice president of administration. She also served as vice president of healthcare services for Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health in 1992 before being named to her current role in 1997.

Ms. Rezak also served as a nurse at Memorial Hospital in Mitchell, S.D., and as a patient care administrator and CEO of Landmann-Jungman Hospital in Scotland, S.D.
