15 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

 

The following hospital and health system executive moves happened in the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Kansas City, Mo.-based HCA Midwest Health System named Matt Sogard CEO of Lee's Summit (Mo.) Medical Center.

2. Rapid City S.D.-based Regional Health President and CEO Charles Hart, MD, announced his retirement.

3. Mercy Medical Center, a 445-bed hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, named Nathan Van Genderen its new CFO, effective April 1.

4. The Tufts Medical Center Board of Trustees appointed Michael Wagner, MD, as permanent president and CEO of Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.

5. Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, Minn., appointed Dan Odegaard CEO.

6. Jim Bishop, CEO of Harney District Hospital in Burns, Ore., announced plans to retire in August 2015.

7. The newly formed Baylor Scott & White Health, based in Dallas, named 11 members of its senior leadership team, including CFO, chief strategy officer and chief quality officer.

8. Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus, N.J., selected Thomas Considine as president and CEO, effective May 1.

9. John Single, president and CEO of Huron (S.D.) Regional Medical Center, retired.

10. Campbellton-Graceville Hospital in Graceville, Fla., named H.D. Cannington CEO.

11. Doug Strong, CEO of Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers, has been named interim CFO of the university.

12. Jack Chubb, CEO of Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, Calif., has been replaced, effective immediately.

13. Scott Bosch, president and CEO of Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., announced plans to retire on July 31.

14. Liberty Medical Center in Chester, Mont., named Derek Daly CEO.

15. Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center named William Caldwell CEO, effective April 1.
