Mission Hospital McDowell in Marion, N.C., is seeking a new CEO.

Nathan Vooys is the new CEO of Reston (Va.) Hospital Center, a 243-bed facility that is part of HCA Virginia Health System.

Monica Reed, MD, has been named president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, according to a Feb. 19 LinkedIn post from the health system. 

Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz., has named Blake Hubbard CEO effective Feb. 19.

Warrenton, Va.-based Fauquier Health has appointed Janelle Padgett as CFO and Toni Maxwell, ADN, as chief nursing officer, according to a Feb. 16 news release.

Kathleen Charbonnier, MSN, RN, has been named as the new chief nursing executive for Boston-based Mass Eye and Ear, a specialty hospital that is part of Mass General Brigham, the system announced in a Feb. 16 release shared with Becker's.

The top physician of Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C., has given notice of his departure, effective March 1.  

Fishersville, Va.-based Augusta Health has promoted Crystal Farmer, MSN, RN, to serve as both chief operating officer and chief nursing officer. 

Janice Murphy, MSN, is planning to retire as president and CEO of Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System. 

Michael Regier is retiring as general counsel and secretary of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., at the end of the academic year. 

Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine has hired its inaugural deputy CIO.

Scott Moran, MD, CEO of Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, a maximum-security forensic psychiatric hospital in Jessup, Md., is on leave amid allegations he bullied and threatened staff, The Washington Post reported Feb. 15. 

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has named Denzil Ross president of its South Central region, effective Feb. 19.

Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center has named John Ballard, PhD, its CEO. 

John McDonald was named CEO of Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. 

Savannah, Ga.-based Memorial Health has named Claudia Emami, MD, as associate chief medical officer.
