RightCare, a medical technology company that helps hospitals and health systems reduce readmissions and optimize post-acute care, has been named a finalist for the Second Annual UHC Startup Challenge: Innovation Delivered.
The competition, sponsored by academic medical center consortium UHC, allows five digital health startups to pitch a new healthcare innovation in front of a live audience for a change to win a $10,000 prize. UHC and healthcare consulting firm AVIA collaborated to choose the finalists.
As a finalist, RightCare will present to a live audience of 1,800 healthcare professionals at the UHC 2014 Annual Conference, entitled "Revolution." The competition winner will receive the cash prize as well as support from AVIA and UHC.
