5 hospital CFOs in the headlines this week

Here are five hospital and health system CFOs that were in the news this past week.

1. David A. Kirshner, MBA, was in the news, as he was named the new CFO of University of Rochester (N.Y.) MedicalCenter, a position he will begin in January.

2. Gary Terrinoni,executive vice president and CFO of Cherry Hill, N.J.-based Kennedy Health System, was in the news discussing Moody's Investors Service's affirmation of the system's bond rating and upgrade of the Kennedy Health System's financial outlook from "stable" to "positive."

3. Monticello, Ark.-based DrewMemorialHospital's new CFO Melodie Colwellwas in the news, as she recently began her role as the hospital's financial leader.

4. Kris Trent, CPA, was in the news, as she was promoted to CFO of Houston-based University General Health System.

5. Hyannis, Mass.-based Cape Cod Healthcare's CFO Mike Connors was in the news discussing the system's growth of outpatient services.
