The Valley Hospital to build $735M facility: 4 things to know

The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., will construct a new facility in Paramus, N.J., for an estimated $735 million, according to Healthcare Design Magazine.


Here are four things to know.

1. Conceptual plans for the new hospital call for a 372-bed, 910,000-square-foot facility with three to seven stories.

2. Valley hopes to break ground on the project in 2019 and complete it as early as 2023.

3. Once complete, Valley will move inpatient and emergency services to the new facility, repurposing the Ridgewood campus for other healthcare services, including laboratory, radiology and endoscopy services, according to the report.

4. Existing ambulatory and outpatient services will also be consolidated at the Ridgewood campus.
