Healthcare professionals looking for jobs are becoming more confident in their ability to find a job, according to the newest Job Search Confidence Index from StartWire, a job search organizer.
StartWire's Job Seeker Confidence Index for all industries jumped from 50.95 in February to 53.69 in March. The index is on a scale of zero to 100, with scores greater than 50 indicating a strong belief that job seekers can find a job within 45 days.
Healthcare professionals' numbers showed an even more dramatic increase of 6.03 points and now sits at 57.31.
"Job seeker confidence notably increased in March, but we are seeing the largest spikes in positive outlook from healthcare professionals," said Chris Forman, CEO of SmartWire, in a news release. "With healthcare demands growing and professionals feeling optimistic about securing employment, all signs point to a stronger healthcare job market."
