Fredericksburg, Va.-based Mary Washington Healthcare is launching a virtual nursing program at its Stafford (Va.) Hospital.
Under the program, Stafford Hospital's nurses will be able work from a virtual operations command center and provide video-enabled care to patients, according to a May 16 press release Mary Washington Healthcare shared with Becker's.
The aim of the new program is to improve patient safety and reduce strain on nurses and clinicians.
