New Porter Regional Hospital Supports Vision of Patient-Centered Care

Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health System's new Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso is part of the health system's vision of delivering personalized, patient-centered care in Northwest Indiana, according to an nwitimes.com report.

Several features of the new facility support the health system's vision, including all private patient rooms with bathrooms and showers; new technology; multiple nursing stations on each level of the building; and the Center for Cardiovascular Medicine, a hospital within a hospital.

"We have a new name, a new logo, new patient-centered design, new technology, equipment, new jobs and, most importantly, an entirely new healthcare presence for Northwest Indiana," says Jonathan Nalli, CEO of Porter Health System.
