The HHS' Office of Inspector General has released the first of 11 videos and podcasts on compliance topics relevant for healthcare providers, according to an OIG news release.
The free videos and podcasts cover major healthcare fraud and abuse laws, the basics of healthcare compliance programs, and what to do when a compliance issue arises.
"We know that the overwhelming majority of healthcare providers are working hard to comply with Federal laws and regulations," said Daniel R. Levinson, HHS Inspector General. "These videos are designed to guide them."
Additional videos and podcasts will be posted on the OIG website at the beginning of each week for the next three months.
