NPSF welcomes new member to its Patient Safety Coalition

PeraHealth, a real-time clinical surveillance solutions provider, has just joined the National Patient Safety Foundation's Patient Safety Coalition.

PeraHealth's software is designed to help nurses and physicians better monitor patients for subtle but serious health issues. The technology is powered by the Rothman Index, a universal score that has been validated by 17 peer-reviewed publications for predicting patient readmission and mortality risk.

The company plans to collaborate with its fellow NPSF Patient Safety Coalition members to share best practices and innovative ideas around driving improvements in care delivery, according to PeraHealth CEO Stephanie Alexander.

"We are very pleased to welcome PeraHealth to the NPSF Patient Safety Coalition," said NPSF President and CEO Tejal K. Gandhi, MD. "Their approach to driving quality and patient safety is very much aligned with our goals and those of our other members, and we look forward to working together."
