Another Rutgers student infected with bacterial meningitis

Health officials at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., have announced that another student has been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and was hospitalized on April 29.

On March 18, a different Rutgers student was hospitalized and diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. Public health officials are reportedly investigating whether or not these two cases are linked.

Rutgers Student Health is encouraging the community to be particularly vigilant in regards to hygiene practices like hand-washing.
