Accelerating sepsis intervention through data analytics

Health systems are increasingly turning to data science to address clinical outcomes.

Sepsis, for example, is the No. 1 cause of unplanned readmissions in U.S. hospitals. The condition accounts for more readmissions than other conditions like heart attack, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pneumonia, according to recent research in JAMA.

During a webinar sponsored by Intermedix, Damian Mingle, chief data scientist at Intermedix, and Jonathan M. Niloff, MD, will share how an analytics approach using patient demographic, socioeconomic determinant and community public health data can help health systems identify sepsis earlier in the care continuum before a patient enters an intensive care unit.

Tune in to learn the clinical and financial advantages of early sepsis intervention and how to gain buy-in from your leadership team.

The webinar is scheduled for Monday, July 17, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. CT. To register, click here.
