States with the best, worst healthcare

WalletHub recently examined the quality of healthcare in the U.S.

Analysts compared healthcare costs, healthcare access and health outcomes of the 50 states and the District of Columbia using a data set of 29 key metric ranges including "out-of-pocket medical spending" and "adult health insurance coverage."

Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale. Overall scores for each state were calculated using the weighted average across all metrics.

Here are the states ranked in terms of their overall healthcare scores, from best to worst.
