1. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center joins Anthem BCBS network
Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will provide in-network care to all Indianapolis-based Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicare Advantage members in Ohio.
2. Tenet, Centene reach 3-year agreement
Tenet Healthcare in Dallas and Centene reached a three-year agreement to continue providing Centene policyholders access to Tenet facilities at reduced, in-network rates.
3. BCBS, Texas Health Resources reach impasse in contract negotiations
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas will drop Arlington-based Texas Health Resources from its network Jan. 1, unless the two organizations reach a new contract by the end of the year.
4. UnitedHealthcare, Tenet reach in-network access agreement
Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare have reached a four-year agreement, which provides UnitedHealthcare members with in-network access to Tenet's facilities throughout the country.
5. Anthem, Owensboro Health to add 50 physicians to network
Indianapolis-based Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Owensboro (Ky.) Health are in negotiations to expand in-network care in western Kentucky and southern Indiana.
6. Humana, JSA Medical Group link up for Florida Medicare Advantage practice
Louisville, Ky.-based Humana and St. Petersburg, Fla.-based JSA Medical Group partnered for one primary care practice in Humana's Florida Medicare Advantage network.
7. Sutter Health negotiates contract renewals with Blue Shield, other insurers
Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health is in talks with Blue Shield, Cigna and Health Net regarding contract renewals for 2017.
8. CHI Memorial, UnitedHealthcare reach agreement
CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tenn., and UnitedHealthcare repaired business ties Nov. 22, meaning about 5,000 UnitedHealthcare customers in the area can once again receive discounted care at CHI Memorial facilities.
9. St. Peter's Health System, CDPHP reach verbal agreement
Albany, N.Y.-based St. Peter's Health Partners and Albany-based Capital District Physicians' Health Plan verbally resolved disputes threatening to end their contract.
10. NMHS prepares to drop United as negotiations stall
North Mississippi Health Services President and CEO Shane Spees said the health system is preparing to leave UnitedHealthcare's provider network Dec. 29 after failing to reach an acceptable contract resolution.
11. Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, BCBS end ACA plan contract
Blue Cross of Idaho dropped Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from its ACA health plan network for 2017.
12. BCBS, Baylor Scott & White Health ink 4-year agreement

Athens, Ga.-based St. Mary's Health Care System and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia reached an agreement to continue in-network collaboration.
14. Everett Clinic, Regence BlueShield reach contract resolution
The Everett (Wash.) Clinic will network with Seattle-based Regence BlueShield for 2017 health plans, overriding contract disputes that could have disrupted care for 69,000 patients.
15. Blue Cross, Fairview network spat could affect 170k patients
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota's and Fairview Health Services' current network contract expires Dec. 31, after which nearly 170,000 patients could lose access to Fairview services at discounted prices.
