University Health in North Carolina Finalizes Name Change

Greenville, N.C.-based University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina is now officially known as Vidant Health, according to a system news release.

The name change was finalized yesterday. The system has grown to include 10 hospitals in the past decade, and the name change was intended to provide an overarching brand for each subsidiary.
