Santa Barbara (Calif.) Cottage Hospital, part of Santa Barbara-based Cottage Health System, will hold a grand opening ceremony for area community members this weekend, according to a Santa Barbara Independent report.
The replacement facility will replace the hospital's current inpatient facility. The new facility was mandated by California's seismic safety law. The health system is also planning upgrades at its Santa Ynez and Goleta Valley Cottage hospitals.
