Palisades Medical Center in New Jersey Proposes Medical Office Building

Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, N.J., is planning a new medical office building, according to a Record report.

The proposed 56,000-square-foot facility would include one floor for an ambulatory surgical center and outpatient dialysis center, and one floor for physician offices. The hospital expects 15 to 20 physicians will share the office space.

The new office is designed to attract physicians to the hospital, which would increase patients' access to services and provide additional revenue to the hospital, according to the report.

The project would require removing an existing 3,400-square-foot building and a helicopter landing pad.
