Banner Health Opens New Freestanding ED in Colorado

Phoenix-based Banner Health has opened a new freestanding emergency facility in Greeley, Colo., according to a report by Northern Colorado Business Report.

The facility includes a triage area, exam rooms, procedure rooms, continuing care bays and medical imagining equipment. Patients who need to be admitted to a hospital will go to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, whose emergency department will remain in operation.

Banner said the new facility will reduce wait times for patients in Greeley, according to the report.
