Here are the 50 hospitals in America with the most employees. Figures are based on the "total employee" figure hospitals provided in their most recent CMS cost report, and the data has been analyzed by the American Hospital Directory.

The "total employee" figure can be found on Worksheet S-3, Part 1, Line 14. It reflects full-time employees with the hospital.

Editor's note: Some hospitals file a combined or consolidated CMS cost report that includes information for other facilities on their campus or affiliated hospitals. In those cases, facilities are included in the "total employee" figure are specified in italicized notes.
