80 healthcare protestors arrested in Congress office buildings

Capitol Police arrested 80 protestors on misdemeanor charges of "crowding, obstructing or incommoding" Monday as they crowded 13 House and Senate office buildings in Washington, D.C., to demonstrate against the Republican healthcare plan, according to a report from CNN.

Protestors in front of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz's office lay down on the ground and had to be carried out by police because they were causing an obstruction in the building, according to the report. Protestors also surrounded the offices of Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona, Rob Portman of Ohio and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, according to the report.

Mr. Cruz and other senators also faced protests over the July 4 recess in their home states.
