Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corp., the biggest physician-led healthcare organization in the state of Rhode Island, recently announced a joint venture with Akido Labs, a leader in AI, safety-net and population management programs.
The partnership builds on RIPCPC's 30-year track record of healthcare delivery and expands Akido's reach to the East Coast, bringing its patient base to almost 500,000, according to a Dec. 21 news release.
The joint venture's primary focus is the development of healthcare innovation hubs that will foster best practices, with the aim of deepening the patient-provider relationship.
