Children's Hospital Colorado's new facility in Colorado Springs is expected to create 700 hospital jobs, according to a KOAA report.
The new facility is still under construction. So far the $160 million project has brought 1,400 construction jobs to the area, according to the report. That's in addition to the 700 other jobs anticipated when the facility is complete.
KOAA reports the facility is slated to open to patients in spring 2019.
