Ohio's Fremont Memorial, ProMedica to Affiliate
Fremont (Ohio) Memorial Hospital is pursuing an affiliation with ProMedica, a non-profit healthcare organization based in Toledo, Ohio, according to a News-Messenger report.The hospital board has signed a letter of intent to pursue the affiliation, and due diligence is expected to take 90 days.
ProMedica operates 11 hospitals and employs approximately 3,000 physicians. Fremont Memorial is a 186-bed hospital with more than 180 physicians.
