Culpeper Medical Associates, a network of six primary care physician practices throughout central Virginia, has joined Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health System, effective April 1.
CMA's operations will integrate with the UVA Physicians Group, and its 112 staff members will become employees of UPG. UPG has been managing CMA's day-to-day operations since 2010.
CMA providers will continue to practice at their current locations, but the practices received new names as part of the integration deal.
