New York's St. Joseph's Hospital Acquires Internal Medicine Practice

St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, N.Y., will acquire the assets of Internal Medicine Associates of the Southern Tier, according to a report by WETM News.

As part of the agreement, IMAST physicians will become employees of AdvantageHealth Medical Services, a medical practice that is closely aligned to St. Joseph's.

IMAST physicians have worked closely with St. Joseph's for many years, serving on the hospital's board of directors and as medical staff leaders, according to the report.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
