Kaiser Permanente to launch new medical, dental clinics in Oregon

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has announced plans to open a medical clinic and a dental clinic near Eugene, Ore., in 2016, according to The Register-Guard.

The medical clinic will employ a staff of 15, which includes four Kaiser physicians, according to the report. It will initially offer services for members of Oregon's Medicaid plan through Trillium Community Health Plan and expand its available plans in 2017.

The dental clinic will employ 10 to 12 full-time equivalent employees, including two dentists.

Kaiser also has pledged to give $125,000 to the local community to invest in health and education, according to the report.
