CEO Peter Betts Resigns From Connecticut's Johnson Memorial Medical Center Over Disagreement With Management Team

CEO Peter J. Betts has resigned from Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford Springs, Conn., according to a Hartford Business Journal report.

Mr. Betts resigned in part due to his disagreement with the management team about how to implement the hospital's strategic plan, according to the report. He has served as permanent CEO for less than year, but began as interim CEO in June 2008.

COO David Morgan will serve as interim CEO.
