Dr. Motew will also oversee the health system's clinical mission and the pursuit of an integrated model that combines operating and financial oversight, sets systemwide strategic goals, and increases transparency through the development of a new UF Health clinical system corporate structure, according to a March 5 UF Health news release.

The regional CEOs at UF Health Jacksonville (Fla.); Leesburg, Fla.-based UF Health Central Florida; Gainesville-based UF Health Shands; St. Augustine, Fla.-based UF Health St. Johns; and UF Health's faculty practice CEOs will all report to Dr. Motew.

Dr. Motew previously served as executive vice president and chief of clinical enterprise at Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System.

UF Health comprises six health colleges; 10 research centers and institutes; 11 hospitals, which include two teaching hospitals and five specialty hospitals; and multiple medical practices and outpatient services.
