The Medical Center of Aurora (Colo.) selected Mark Deno to serve as COO.
Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Deno most recently served as chief administrative officer of The Medical Center of Aurora and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital in Aurora.
2. The two facilities underwent an operational integration in January.
3. Mr. Deno was previously CEO of Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital.
4. He holds an MBA degree from Schaumburg, Ill.-based American Intercontinental University.
5. In his new role, MR. Deno will be responsible for operations, case management, pharmacy, laboratory, rehabilitation and orthopedic services at The Medical Center of Aurora and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital.
