John Dubis, president and CEO of Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare, has stepped down after disclosing to managers that he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, according to the Cincinnati Business Insider.
Mr. Dubis said he is in the early stages of the disease, but insisted on retiring out of concern his diagnosis might impair his ability to lead the organization, according to the report.
