Paulette Evans, RN, has been named president and CEO of Hospital Sisters Health System St. Joseph Hospital in Breese, Ill. She has been serving as the hospital's interim president and CEO since June.
Ms. Evans has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles with HSHS St. Joseph Hospital for 40 years, starting as a nursing assistant in 1974. She has been the hospital's CNO for the past 15 years.
"I'm thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead St. Joseph's Hospital, which has been like a second home to me. We have such an incredible team dedicated to carrying on the mission of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis and providing exceptional care for our patients and their families. It is such an honor to work with my colleagues at St. Joseph's and HSHS and I look forward to building on the successes we've accomplished," Ms. Evans said.
