Pardee UNC Health Care in Hendersonville, N.C., appointed Milton Butterworth manager of community health, effective July 1, according to a Mountain Xpress report.

1. Mr. Butterworth most recently served as chief development officer at Blue Ridge Health in Hendersonville.
2. In his new role, he will represent Pardee UNC Health Care in the Henderson County Partnership for Health and will manage a Healthy People, Healthy Carolinas grant from The Duke Endowment.
3. Pardee UNC Health Care encompasses a 222-bed hospital as well as a physician practice network, two urgent care locations and five orthopedic clinics.
