Sunrise, Fla.-based MDLIVE, a telemedicine company, has named Sanjay Patil, MD, executive vice president and general manager of health systems strategy and transformation.
In his new role, Dr. Patil, who has more than 20 years of healthcare experience, will assist with client engagement and system transformation.
"The recent progress of MDLIVE's technology breakthroughs have been incredible," said Dr. Patil, according to the press release. "Our virtual care technology platform provides the foundation for supporting care coordination services around transitions in care, gap closure and ACO/HEDIS measure improvement."
