Memphis, Tenn.-based LifeLinc, which manages anesthesia practices in 10 states, has named Greg L. Thompson, MD, president.
Here are four things to know about Dr. Thompson.
1. Dr. Thompson graduated from Memphis-based University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, College of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Little Rock-based University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
2. He obtained a lifetime certification from the American Board of Anesthesiologists in 1994 and currently holds medical licenses in Tennessee and Mississippi.
3. Most recently, Dr. Thompson served as director of anesthesia services at Oxford (Miss.) Surgery Center and anesthesiologist at Oxford-based Baptist Memorial Hospital.
4. Dr. Thompson is a member of numerous organizations and societies, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Tennessee Society of Anesthesiologists and the Mississippi Medical Association.
