Houston Methodist has named Dan Newman CEO of its St. John Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas after serving as the hospital's interim CEO for the past six months, according to the Houston BizBlog.
Mr. Newman has worked for Houston Methodist since 2005. Previously, he was the vice president for system integration and was also a part of the orthopedic service line integration at Houston Methodist Hospital.
"We are so fortunate to have Dan lead Houston Methodist St. John Hospital," said Chris Siebenaler, regional senior vice president, in a statement. "His talents and expertise will ensure that St. John continues to provide superior care and exceptional service by bringing leading medicine to the Bay-area community."
