Tacoma, Wash.-based Franciscan Health has announced the appointment of David Schultz, MHA, as president of Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Wash., effective Dec. 15.
Mr. Schultz has nearly 18 years of leadership experience. Since 2007, he has served as executive vice president and COO at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash. His prior experience includes serving as administrator and COO for Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz., vice president of Tyler-based East Texas Medical Center, chief administrative office at Children's Medical center in Tulsa, Okla., and COO at Doctor's Hospital in Tulsa.
"We believe that David Schultz, with his many years of hospital leadership experience, will benefit Harrison as he leads the organization through a period of tremendous change and growth," said CHI Franciscan Health CEO Joe Wilczek. "Given his solid track record, he is the right leader to ensure Harrison remains the region's center for exceptional health care, now and well into the future."
Mr. Schultz succeeds Scott Bosch as president of Harrison Medical Center.
