Michael Muscarella, DPT, has been named the new executive director of ambulatory services for Baptist Health Paducah (Ky.).
Here are three things to know about Dr. Muscarella.
1. In his new position, he will supervise pharmacy, TCU, respiratory therapy, specialty nursing/diabetes, wound care/hyperbaric medicine and rehabilitation services.
2. Dr. Muscarella has been director of rehabilitation since 1991.
3. Dr. Muscarella is past president of the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association and the Rotary Club of Paducah. He also serves with many different local, regional and state organizations to promote health, including currently organizing a Baptist Health Medical Explorers post to encourage high school students to consider healthcare careers.
