Avera St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, S.D., has named Mikel Holland, MD, as its first CMO, according to a Capital Journal report.
Dr. Holland, a family physician, has served as the medical director of the Avera Medical Group Pierre for five years and is on the hospital's governing board, according to the report.
