7 latest hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last three weeks. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System CFO Greg Gombar is retiring at the end of 2017.

2. Glendale (Calif.) Memorial Hospital President Jack Ivie is retiring, effective June 30.

3. Pasadena, Calif.-based Huntington Hospital President and CEO Steve Ralph is retiring, ending a 22-year tenure as leader of the hospital.

4. Fort Myers, Fla.-based HealthPark Medical Center's Chief Administrative Officer and Fort Myers-based Lee Health's Chief Patient Care Officer Donna Giannuzzi is retiring, effective June 1.

5. Fort Myers, Fla.-based Golisano Children's Hospital Chief Administrative Officer Kathy Bridge-Liles plans to retire, effective July 28, ending a 25-year tenure with the organization.

6. Sharon MacDonald, Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health's chief administrative officer for oncology and head of Lee Health Foundation will be retiring on May 26.

7. Charles A. Krivenko, MD, Fort Myers, Fla.-basedLee Health's CMO for clinical services and chief patient safety officer, is retiring, effective June 1.
