New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System has launched its patient engagement app, called MountSinaiNY, on the Google Play store for Androids.
MountSinaiNY, a mobile app developed by LifeMap Solutions and Mount Sinai's department of information technology, was first released on the Apple App Store for iPhones in June 2016. The mobile offers appointment booking, bill payment, medical record access and social media updates, in an effort to facilitate patients' access to health services.
Moving forward, Mount Sinai plans to add telemedicine and wayfinding updates to MountSinaiNY.
