Joel Harris has been appointed to president and CEO of Raleigh, N.C.-based TeleHealth Services' parent company effective April 1.
Mr. Harris previously held a position as CEO of Avidex, an audio and visual media company based in Bellevue, Wash., and has served in a variety of senior management positions at TeleHealth since 1996. He has held positions as director of corporate planning, vice president of product development and senior vice president of operations, according to a news release.
Mr. Harris will succeed George Fleming, the company's current CEO, who is retiring after 14 years as president and CEO. Mr. Fleming said Mr. Harris' audio and visual experience will help move the company's product forward in care quality, according to the news release.
