ChartLogic announced its new Stella application, which can help hospitals meet new Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements by enabling physicians to create standardized continuity of care documents on the Apple iPad.
Stella allows physicians to view, create and transmit documents on iPads using their current hospital's electronic healthcare system. The system helps hospitals meet several Stage 2 requirements without having to purchase new EHR systems.
Stella also uses a web-based speech recognition program for physicians to dictate notes.
