Bobbie Peterson has been selected as the new executive vice president of Apprio's Healthcare Solutions, effective immediately.
Washington, D.C.-based Apprio provides healthcare solutions to federal agencies such as the ONC, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, CMS and the Food and Drug Administration. Ms. Peterson comes from Medsphere Systems, which provides health IT systems to the VA and the Indian Health Service, according to a news release.
Ms. Peterson participates in HIMSS as a senior member in the National Capital Area, among other professional organizations. She is a graduate of GeorgeWashingtonUniversity and is certified in project management and in healthcare and information management systems.
"My health IT priorities are aligned with Apprio's — they include solving complex healthcare challenges for federal clients with a focus on customer excellence and outcomes," Ms. Peterson said in the news release. "Apprio is in a perfect place in the healthcare sector; one where there are a lot of opportunities for expansion."
