350 Kaiser Permanente Clinics reach HIMSS Stage 7

HIMSS Analytics has recognized 350 Kaiser Permanente ambulatory clinics with the Stage 7 Ambulatory Award, which represents the highest level of EHR adoption.

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente is the organization with the most certified Stage 7 ambulatory clinics, according to a statement. Kaiser has also earned 37 Stage 7 Hospital Awards from HIMSS in the last five years.

"Kaiser Permanente has clearly met and exceeded all criteria for an ambulatory Stage 7 organization. They have a complete electronic patient medical record with appropriate ubiquitous access to support patient care in all Kaiser Permanente facilities across the country," said John P. Hoyt, executive vice president of HIMSS Analytics.
