Billing staff at Coupeville, Wash.-based WhidbeyHealth are now under one roof after the system consolidated its patient financial services, according to a Whidbey News-Times report.
Patient financial services for inpatient and outpatient care were previously split between offices in Oak Harbor, Wash., and Coupeville. The billing staff now work together in one newly-leased building in Coupeville, according to the report.
"Patients will be able to do one-stop shopping," Beth Stout, director of revenue cycle, told Whidbey News-Times. "Many of our patients utilize both medical center and clinic services. We will be looking to assist them with all of their concerns so they do not need to call another location."
The new office opened for business Monday, according to the report.
