Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health plans to host a ribbon cutting ceremony next Wednesday for the grand opening of its new fully licensed community hospital in Littleton, Colo., that was built in partnership with The Woodlands, Texas-based Emerus.
Located in the Southwest Denver area, the two-story, 37,080-square-foot SCL-Health Community Hospital-Southwest will serve the residents of Southwest Denver, Littleton and surrounding communities in a neighborhood setting. The hospital will provide a comprehensive range of services typically found at larger hospitals, such as emergency medical care, inpatient care and a range of surgical procedures.
The health system is offering tours of the new building May 25 at 3:30 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, May 28, the hospital is hosting a free barbeque for first responders, family and community hospitals at the hospital site.
