Maryville, Tenn.-based Blount Memorial Hospital will consolidate its business and financial operations into a new facility, reports The Daily Times.
Here are three things to know.
1. BMH purchased the former First Tennessee Bank building in downtown Maryville to house the new Blount Memorial Financial Operations Center.
2. Finance and operations staff — including employees from the business offices, account and internal audit departments — will relocate to the new center to "maximize operational efficiencies," according to the report.
3. The move comes about two months after BMH announced plans to cut 100 full-time positions by April 15.
